Akia Blackmon, DMD

Dr. Akia D. Blackmon is a compassionate, detail-oriented dentist committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. She believes that exceptional dentistry begins with trust and communication, taking the time to listen to each patient's concerns, answer questions, and develop personalized treatment plans that support both immediate needs and long-term oral health.

Dr. Blackmon provides comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages, including preventive services, restorative dentistry, crowns and bridges, root canal therapy, extractions, removable prosthodontics, emergency dental care, and treatment planning. She is also Botox certified, allowing her to offer additional treatment options to meet her patients' needs.

A graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Blackmon is dedicated to lifelong learning and regularly pursues continuing education to stay current with the latest advancements in dentistry. She is a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and is committed to delivering evidence-based care with an emphasis on patient comfort and clinical excellence.

Throughout her career, Dr. Blackmon has had the privilege of serving diverse communities, including providing care in Medicaid-based practices and treating military veterans through collaborations with the Department of Veterans Affairs. She is passionate about expanding access to quality dental care and empowering patients through education so they can make confident decisions about their oral health.

Outside the office, Dr. Blackmon enjoys traveling, hiking, paddle boarding, skiing, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She looks forward to helping every patient achieve a healthy, confident smile while making each visit a positive and comfortable experience.
