Jennifer Matika, DDS

Dr. Jennifer Matika was born and raised in Virginia Beach and has been going to the dentist since the age of two when she had her first cleaning. After attending the University of Virginia for undergrad, she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. Dr. Matika is passionate about building relationships with her patients. She believes patient education is a key component to fostering these relationships and because of this she takes extra time to explain treatment to her patients in straightforward and easy to understand language.

Dr. Matika has always enjoyed art and architecture and sees dentistry as an “architecture of the mouth”. She enjoys all aspects of restorative dentistry, especially replacing missing or broken teeth. She is also a certified Invisalign® provider.

Dr. Matika and her husband live in Virginia Beach. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family, walking on the beach during any season, and cheering for UVA sports.
