He served his endodontic residency at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 2015 with the prestigious Grossman Award for Outstanding Proficiency in the Endodontic program. Taking care of patients as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon is a perfect fit for Dr. Kaine Stokes, DDS. The Wisconsin native has always enjoyed helping people – even in challenging circumstances.
During his residency with the U.S. Navy, Dr. Stokes spent six weeks on a mission trip in Belize, a country located on the eastern coast of Central America. By day, he took care of an entire school’s dental needs, treating students and faculty. At night, he would examine and treat the students’ parents to make sure the entire family had proper dental care.
Dr. Stokes discovered his passion for dentistry long before he ever went to college or trained to be a surgeon. Growing up in Barron, Wisconsin, he watched his uncle, also a dentist, improve the health of patients through his dentistry practice.
