Seeking GENERAL DENTISTS to join our dental team in providing comprehensive dentistry to patients. We are Konikoff Dental Associates, Inc. a progressive dental group of general dentists and specialists who believe in a “heartfelt connection” approach in offering a total continuum of oral health care to our patients and their families. Currently, we have eight general dentistry offices in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia located in Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Suffolk that are supported by in-house specialists of oral surgery, endodontics, and pediatrics.
Compensation package consists of the following: Competitive first year salary with potential incentive, production percentage compensation after the first year with earnings potential of 250K+, and benefits including medical insurance, dental, vacation leave, 401k with match, continuing education reimbursement, disability, and malpractice insurance coverage, licensure, and many other advantages in a multi-doctor setting.
Requirements/qualifications include the following: Graduate from accredited dental school. Completion of Dental Residency program or current work experience as a dentist in private practice or the military is a plus. Must have proficient skills in comprehensive diagnosis and restorative.

PATIENT TEAM COORDINATOR
Seeking energetic, professional individuals who enjoys providing the best care for patients and making a great impression. Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with co-workers, managers and doctors. Other responsibilities of a team coordinator include (but are not limited to) scheduling, excellent communication and computer skills, and accepting payments from patients. Previous dental experience helpful as team coordinators discuss financial options and insurance information with patients.

We are looking for an energetic, detail oriented individual to communicate effectively with co-workers, patients, and insurance companies regarding patient’s benefits and EOBs. Candidates must have prior computer experience as well as math skills. Job duties include obtaining patient benefits, sending insurance claims electronically, and following up on unpaid claims. Previous dental work experience is a plus. Medical insurance knowledge is helpful. Above market compensation and benefits offered dependent on prior work experience.
As a Financial Coordinator, some of your duties will consist of collections, treatment planning with doctors and patients, and processing payments. A qualified candidate must have excellent communication skills as well as an understanding of financial planning of patient treatment. Those interested in becoming a Financial Coordinator must have previous dental and customer experience. Excellent communication skills, computer skills (including excel and word capabilities), and mathematical abilities are also a requirement. This is a full-time position of five days per week with one Saturday per month.
Seeking energetic individuals who show initiative and love taking care of patients in a team-oriented setting. Must have x-ray certification and a willingness to learn. Those with at least one year experience in dental assisting beyond internships are welcome for interviews. Pay commensurate with prior work experiences and great benefits.
ORAL SURGERY DENTAL ASSISTANT
Seeking oral surgery assistants to assist in all oral surgery procedures, from extractions to implants. Must possess quality characteristics of a team player who is caring, nurturing, comforting and heartfelt when connecting with patients. Requirements include: prior dental experience preferably in periodontal or oral surgery fields. Full time position, consisting of 4 weekdays including one evening and half Saturdays from 8:00 to 12:00
Must also possess the following skills:
- Utilization and skill in Dentrix-based computer system
- BLS certified
- Competency in materials and instrumentation set-ups and in 4-handed dentistry
- Ability to monitor and maintain patient comfort at all times
- Expertise in temporary crown fabrication
- Well-versed in PPE, OSHA and infection control standards
- Ability to properly and completely record and document in clinical record
