AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

ENDODONTIST

Seeking ENDODONTIST to complement our general dentistry staff (consisting of 30 dentists) by providing in-house specialized treatment to our patients. Our fee-for-service general dentistry practice has been in existence for over thirty years; during that time, we have grown to seven offices and planning for an eighth. Our endodontic suite is situated in a new medical building centrally located between our offices. The suite consists of operatories, each containing top of the line equipment and endodontic scopes. Current demand for endodontic care is scheduled approximately three weeks in advance.

Requirements include four years of dental school and two additional years of endodontic residency training. Additional years of experience in private practice or the military is a plus.

ENDODONTIC DENTAL ASSISTANT

Seeking energetic endodontic assistants to assist in all endodontic procedures. Must possess quality characteristics of a team player who is caring, nurturing, comforting and heartfelt when connecting with patients.

Requirements include: Experience in assisting an endodontist. Must also possess the following skills:

  • Utilization and skill in Dentrix-based computer system
  • Competency in materials and instrumentation set-ups and in 4-handed dentistry
  • Ability to monitor and maintain patient comfort at all times
  • Well-versed in PPE, OSHA and infection control standards
  • Ability to properly and completely record and document in clinical record
  • Must have x-ray certification and a willingness to learn.

Those with at least one year experience in endodontic dental assisting beyond internships are welcome for interviews. Pay commensurate with prior work experiences and great benefits. Must be willing to travel if needed. Full time hours, may include one evening and Saturdays 8:00 – 12:00

ORAL SURGERY DENTAL ASSISTANT

Seeking oral surgery assistants to assist in all oral surgery procedures, from extractions to implants. Must possess quality characteristics of a team player who is caring, nurturing, comforting and heartfelt when connecting with patients.

Requirements include: prior dental experience preferably in periodontal or oral surgery fields. Must also possess the following skills:

  • Utilization and skill in Dentrix-based computer system
  • BLS certified
  • Competency in materials and instrumentation set-ups and in 4-handed dentistry
  • Ability to monitor and maintain patient comfort at all times
  • Expertise in temporary crown fabrication
  • Well-versed in PPE, OSHA and infection control standards
  • Ability to properly and completely record and document in clinical record
  • Full time hours, including one evening and Saturdays 8:00 – 12:00

ORAL SURGERY SCHEDULER/TEAM COORDINATOR

Seeking energetic and highly self-motivated individual to work as coordinator to meet the needs of both patients and a highly skilled oral surgery dental team in a caring, nurturing and comforting environment.  Top notch communication abilities on both the telephone and in person are a MUST.

Requirements include prior front office dental experience preferably in an oral surgery or periodontal environment. Possessing the following skills a real plus:

  • Utilization and skill in dental based computer system or Dentrix Enterprise experience
  • Scheduling experience and accuracy in financial and insurance knowledge for treatment planning
  • Ability to properly and completely record and document in patient records
  • Flexibility in hours
  • High level of ability in ensuring that all patient questions and concerns are satisfied

Great company benefits, compensation commensurate with experience and bonus potential.  Flexibility in traveling is necessary, as this career opportunity will include traveling to offices in the Chesapeake/Virginia Beach area.  Full time hours do include one weekday evening until 8:30 p.m., Friday from 8:00-5:00, and Saturdays from 8-12.   Some on-the-job training will occur.

PEDIATRIC DENTAL ASSISTANT

The dental assistant provides support to the office and is responsible for assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. We are looking for qualified, energetic dental assistants who want to grow professionally and make a difference in the lives of our patients.
